The Subtlety of Satan

According to Deuteronomy 18:10-13, the LORD God forbids us in practicing communication with the dead, divination, sorcery, fortune telling, witchery, casting spells, and holding séances. But do you know that there are many of God's children unknowingly doing these things? Satan deceives subtly or cunningly. Here's how:

Example #1: When my Step-Father died (whom I loved very much), the LORD Jesus reminded me to tell my children that if their grandfather appeared to them in a dream, that it was not him. I explained to them that their grandfather was with the LORD and if he was to appear to them in a dream, then it would not be him. It would be a demon masquerading as their grandfather; and they would need to rebuke it in the Name of Jesus and command it to leave and never return. Well, it happened! My daughter said, "In my dream, I saw granddaddy coming toward me. I remembered what you told me and I immediately began to scream at the demon and telling it that he was not my granddaddy. I rebuked it in the Name of Jesus and told it to leave." If I had failed to warn my children in what the LORD told me, my daughter would have been communicating with the dead. But the dead would not have been her grandfather. It would have been a demon spirit posing as her grandfather. There are many children (and adults) whose loved ones have died and demons have posed as them so that they could have an open door in coming into this realm. Communication with the dead will eventually lead a person into other areas of divination.

Example #2: When I was a teenager, the coolest thing among us, was keeping up with our horoscope (or sign). When I was able to purchase a two-door car, I immediately went to the department store and purchased my horoscope or "sign" to place on the passenger side of the car. One day, I was on my way to work. I stopped at a stop sign when all of a sudden, an old lady with rags tied around her neck and face, opened my door and seated herself. She then told me that she wanted a ride around the corner. I did not think much of it because she was old and it looked as if she suffered from arthritis (because my pastor's wife covered herself the same way and suffered from arthritis). Since I loved to help the elderly, I did not mind that she hopped in for a ride to go around the corner. When I proceeded to turn, all of a sudden, she became agitated and commanded me to let her out of the car. I lovingly told her that I will give her a ride to where she wanted to go, but she kept on commanding me with great agitation to let her out of the car. So I did and did not think any more of the situation until many years later when I committed my whole heart to the LORD Jesus. This is when the Holy Spirit reminded me of that incident. So I asked the LORD, "What was wrong with that old woman?" Then the LORD told me, "That was not an old woman." I then asked him, "What was it then?" He said, "That was a demon posing as an old woman." I was then startled and continued to ask the LORD, "What gave that demon the right to appear unto me?" The LORD asked me a question, "What did you have on your car?" I then thought about it and then the Holy Spirit brought it to my remembrance. Then I said to the LORD, "I had my horoscope or "sign" on the passenger side of my car." Then the LORD said, "That was the legal or open door that the demon used to gain access into this realm. His intention was to harm and destroy you. But I would not allow him." Then the LORD asked me another question. He said, "Do you remember the empty space between you and the demon?" I said, "Yes." The LORD said again, "When you turned the corner, I sent my swift angel down and sat right between you and the demon. You could not see the angel, but the demon did. And he was very scared. That is why he appeared to you as being agitated." Dear Hearts, after the LORD revealed this truth to me, I first asked him to forgive me for practicing divination through the horoscope or "sign" and then I began to praise and thank him for His protection, mercy, and grace.

Now I shared this particular experience with you because some of you on here have been subtly and cunningly been lured into practicing divination. The word divination is from Latin divinare, which means to foresee or to be inspired by a god. The application "fortune cookies" attempts to foresee one's future. Any application whose purpose is to predict your character or future is divination. The LORD God has forbidden this practice! He said in His Word, "People who do these things are an abomination to GOD. It’s because of such abominable practices that GOD, your God, is driving these nations out before you. Be completely loyal to GOD, your God." He knows that Satan and his evil kingdom only have the intention to kill, steal and destroy human lives! Remember, it is always the truth that we know that will set us free.

Spirit Children

In the USA, statistics have shown that many parents and grandparents were killed by their own children and grandchildren. These children were either neglected by one or both parents. This is a perfect opportunity for the "Evil One" to begin his work in and through children. Often due to neglect, children are tormented by spirits of loneliness, rejection and hate; which eventually lead to the spirit of murder.

In Africa and other parts of the world, children who kill their parents or grandparents are called spirit children. But what is the true meaning of a spirit child? When I look at the Word of God, through the eyes of wisdom, by the Holy Spirit; I can clearly see that the true identity of a "spirit child" is a demonic spirit whose responsibility is to possess a child that has been abandoned by their parent or parents.

In Africa, such children who are possessed by or believed to be a spirit child are often avoided or killed because of the fear that the child will kill their parent(s) or grandparent(s). In the USA, parents and grandparents are naive to the fact that such spirits exist in their children and grandchildren and simply think the problem is medical. They try to solve the problem by giving the child different drugs and medications; while Africa's approach may be wrong in dealing with spirit children, they are aware that the problem exists.

How do we deal with a spirit child? Remember we are not fighting against flesh and blood, but against demonic and angelic spirits that resides on earth, under the earth, in the sea and in the heavens. Jesus Christ has given His children weapons of warfare. These weapons are found in:

Ephesians 6:11-17

Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

The only way to stop a spirit child is to use our Authority in Jesus Christ. This is our God-given right! Faith in Jesus Christ is the only way to conquer these spirits. We must use our Authority, in Jesus Christ, to bind and cast the spirit child out of our children and grandchildren. We cannot assume that they will get better through medications or over time. A spirit child's only aim is to kill, steal, and destroy.

BY THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST, SPIRIT CHILDREN CAN AND WILL BE DETHRONED IN OUR CHILDREN AND GRANDCHILDREN TODAY!

Your Heart's Decisionmaker

There seems to be a rise in people saying the word "shalom" to their brothers and sisters. As I was preparing to broadcast my Cinch today, I was led to choose Colossians 3:15 (CJB). Which reads:

...and let the shalom which comes from the Messiah be your heart's decisionmaker, for this is why you were called to be part of a single Body. And be thankful...

The word shalom means peace. Jesus said that His children shall be known as peacemakers (Matthew 5:9). Why? Because Jesus is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6). When we say "shalom" to one another, it should not be a mere word that we have decided to use to make us look or feel in right standing with God. It should be our lifestyle. The Prince of Peace should be manifesting in our lives through our walk and talk. Our conversations should be spreading peace wherever we go. If we are spreading hearsay, rumors or gossip, then the Prince of Peace is not our decisionmaker. And when we say to our brother or sister "shalom", it is only a mere word that we have chosen to use.

When the Prince of Peace truly lives on the inside of you and you say "shalom" to your brother or sister, that person will leave your presence feeling the peace and love that radiates from the Messiah. But on the contrary, that person will leave your presence feeling the opposite.

Let's purpose in our heart to not just say the word "shalom", but to live it. And let the Messiah be your heart's decisionmaker.

Shalom.

Faithfulness

The kingdom of heaven is compared to a man who went on a long trip. Before he went, he distributed gifts to each of his servants. These gifts had different values (e.g., 10, 5, 1). After the man left, the servants began to look at the value of their gift. The two that had the "10 and 5", they saw opportunities to double it. But the person that had "1", he saw that it had no value and went and hid it.

When the man returned from his trip, he called the three together to give an account of what they did with their gift. The ones with the "10" and "5', showed how they doubled their value. So he said to them, "Well done, you are a good and faithful person".

When the one that had the "1' gift came, he spoke before the man could ask him what had he done with his gift. He said, "I could not do anything with it. It had no value and I just hid it." The man was very angry and he took the "1" gift and gave it to another and had that person thrown out of his sight forever.

The Lord has given each one of us unique talents and gifts, but at different levels. There are some whose talents or gifts takes them locally, nationally or internationally. The Lord never look at where ones gift or talent takes them. But rather, when the Lord looks at us, he always look for "faithfulness" in what we do. Are we being faithful to Him in that which He has given us. Faithfulness is the key to success in the eyes of the Lord. If we are not thankful and faithful in the "little things" of life, we will never be "faithful" in the greater things in life (Matthew 25:21).

No matter how small or big your ministry may be, it can only be successful in the eyes of God when you remain faithful to Him. Large and small ministries have fallen all because they had given up on being faithful to God. Their gifts or talents will be taken from them and given to the ones who are continually faithful to the Lord.

Please, stop seeking to become a large or well-known ministry; but instead seek being faithful to God. All other things will be automatically added to you.

Selah.
