Unnecessary Pain

I have been dealing with painful and swollen gums for several months.  I tried everything to help my situation.  Finally, without my knowledge, my loving husband scheduled a dentist appointment and insisted that I accept it.  When the dentist looked over my x-ray and then my teeth and gums, she immediately said, “I will tell you what I see.  There’s a piece of plague stuck in your gum.”  So she removed it and behold, the pain gradually disappeared.  It never occurred to me that something that small would cause so much pain.  Then the Holy Spirit began to show me something.  We sometimes try to fix things ourselves.  I could not see the plague, but the Dentist could.  I needed her expertise.  LIKEWISE, sometimes we may not be able to see the root cause of our problem(s).  But when we consult or talk with someone whom the Holy Spirit has given wisdom and revelation, they can help us.  We need to accept their advice and help because they are specialists in this area.  When we try to always help ourselves and never seek their godly counsel, we will suffer unnecessary pain.  Selah †

Water, It Does the Body Good

The human body consists of around 90% of water.  Its natural desire is food (and water).  It cannot continue to live on earth without it.  Who do you think it is that whispers in our hearing not to consume an adequate amount of water on a daily basis?  My uncle at the age of 40 lost his kidneys.  He later confessed that he did not drink much water during those years.  At the age of 50, he died.  Dear Hearts, it is Satan and his demons who whispers to us not to drank much water and to dislike it.  Their aim is to steal our health, to destroy our happiness and finally to kill or take our lives.  Be thankful and drank plenty of water each and every day.  REMEMBER there are those who don’t have the privilege of going to the faucet in their home for water.  So drank up in Jesus' name!  Selah †

TESTIMONY

In women’s prayer, a woman asked for prayer for her swollen feet. Because of a personal experience, I saw the root cause of her problem. So I said to her, “It’s not prayer that you need. The problem is that you are not drinking enough water each day. How much water do you drink each day?” She then replied, “I drank water.” I then said, “I did not ask you if you drank water, but how much?” She then became very agitated with me. So I continued to tell her that she needed to drink more water each day and her problem will go away.  Dear Hearts, sometimes we want the quicker and shorter way out of things by asking people to pray for us. What we really need to do is ask the LORD God to reveal to us the ROOT CAUSE of our problem(s). 

The Holy Spirit Heart's Cry

Why do you as God’s children act as the world’s children? You have God, the Holy Spirit, with you and living in you. There’s nothing too complicated for me to solve. So why do you as God’s children act as the world’s children? The world’s children divorce and remarry, so you divorce and remarry. The world’s children get drunk, so you get drunk. The world’s children commit adultery and fornication, so you commit adultery and fornication. And the list goes on and on. Greater is Me Who lives in you than Satan who is in the world. You need to set your affection on things above and not on things of this world. You CANNOT do or say as the world’s done or say. This world is NOT your home. You are sojourners or brief visitors on this earth. You are here to announce the soon-coming Kingdom of your LORD, Christ Jesus. You are here to recruit citizens to His Kingdom; for His Kingdom is an everlasting kingdom which has no end. Act as dear children of God. Selah †

Faithful: God or Mankind?

I was thinking about the time I read a friend’s comment on Facebook.  He commented on another friend’s picture in which he referred to her as being faithful.  Now, I happen to know the reason why he called her faithful.  But in the eyes of God, she was not faithful.  Dear Hearts, just because a person may give their tithes and offerings to a local church or show up for church services once a week, it does not necessarily mean that the person is faithful to God.  Mankind’s way of determining faithfulness is totally different than the way God determines faithfulness.  And by the way, faithfulness works both ways.  One can be either faithful to God or to mankind.  Selah †
