A Lesson On Respect

In church services, a young man was holding and kissing his little girl. As I watched him, wisdom arose. After church services, I spoke with him. I said, “I see that you love your daughter very much. But do you want to know how you can get your daughter to love you?” He said, “Yes.” I then proceeded to say, “As your daughter grows, let her see (and hear) you love and respect her mother. NEVER let her see (and hear) you disrespect her mother and it will cause her to love and respect you as her father.” Selah †
